Among them: The output of metalworking machine tool was 182.3 billion Yuan (27.11 billion US dollars), up 5.1% year on year; The total consumption of metalworking machine tool was 184.36 billion Yuan (27.41 billion US dollars), down 1.9% year on year; The total export volume was 6.29 billion US dollars, up 18.3% year on year; The total import volume was 6.6 billion US dollars, down 11.5%. Although seriously affected by the pandemic, the results of supply-side reform, transformation and upgrading and high quality development have persisted for many years, the automation and intelligent orders for complete production lines has increased significantly, the industrial product structure has been continuously optimized, and the operating level of the whole industry has been continuously improved.

This year is an important year to implement the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress, and opportunities and challenges coexist in Chinese machine tool industry. Expanding domestic demand, accelerating the construction of a modern industrial system, improving the resilience of industrial chain and supply chain and security level, these have become an important task of current economic development.
