The 20th China International Machine Tool Show (CIMT2027), sponsored by the China Machine Tool & Tool Builders' Association (CMTBA) and organized by CMTBA and China International Exhibition Center Group Limited, will be held at the Capital International Exhibition & Convention Center and China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Hall) in Beijing from April 19th to 24th, 2027, with a projected total exhibition area of 320,000 square meters.

Launched in 1989, the China International Machine Tool Show (CIMT) has been held once every odd-numbered year, with 19 successful editions staged to date, it is the most renowned, largest and most influential professional exhibition for the machine tool industry in China, and is internationally recognized as one of the world’s four major machine tool exhibitions along with EMO in Europe, IMTS in the United States and JIMTOF in Japan. The 19th China International Machine Tool Show (CIMT2025), held in April 2025, attracted 2,449 exhibitors from 31 countries and regions in the world, machine tool associations, trade promotion organizations from 13 countries and regions including Germany, the United States, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Italy, Korea, Spain, Japan, Czech, India, France, Hong Kong region of China and Taiwan region of China organized pavilions to participate, the total exhibition area reached 310,000 square meters. The show welcomed 211,993 trade visitors from 113 countries and regions, and the total number of admissions stood at 416,570. CIMT2025 ranked as the world’s largest professional machine tool exhibition over the past decade.

CIMT2027 will continue to adopt both the Capital International Exhibition & Convention Center and China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Hall) simultaneously, the two venues are interconnected and will operate in a coordinated manner. With the support and guidance of relevant government authorities, the sponsor and organizers will work together with the venue operators and all cooperating partners to optimize the exhibition layout, properly address various challenges including transportation, move-in and move-out operations, as well as water, power and gas supply.
