The level and grade of products showing at the 10th China International Machine Tool Show are higher than that in its history. The highlights are as follow:
1. High speed machining center more popular
There are 210 machining centers are exhibited at the show (110 sets only at CIMT2005), 120 of them demonstrated by domestic companies and 90 from abroad. And about 50% of exhibits from abroad and 30% of domestic products are high speed machining center with max. Speed of spindle over 10000rpm. Some machines on show are of max. Speed of spindle up to 30000 to 40000rpm with rapid travels 60 to 70m/min.
2.More multi-function and integrated machine tools on show
20 sets of integrated machine tools in different integrating modes is showed including 12 sets of 5-axis turning/milling centers half of them are domestics and half from abroad. Shenyang Machine Tool Group demonstrates 6 turning/milling centers in series and in addition, a lot of companies from abroad exhibits 5-axis horizontal turning/milling centers such as Mazak (Japan), Okuma (Japan), Mori Seiki, DMG (Germany), Doosan (Korea) and WFL(Austria), etc.
Moreover, many foreign companies exhibit 5-axis milling/turning centers such as Bumolec SA and Willemin from Swiss and DMG of Germany.
There are machine tools with differ processes integrated on show, such as Ultrasonic and milling integrated machine and laser and milling integrated machine from DMG and turning and grinding integrated machine from Nanjing CNC Machine Tool.
3.New, Innovative and high grade products
At the show, exhibitors both from home and abroad demonstrate a series of new and innovative products. For domestic products, there are parallel leg machine from Harbin Measuring & Cutting Tool Works, nano grinder from Shanghai Machine Tool Group, plasma fine cutting machine from Jier Machine Tool Group and gantry traveling high speed milling center for composite material.
The exhibits from aboard include high precision wire ¨Ccut EDM of Agie Charmilles, high speed duo-spindle turning center of Hartings of USA, Jig grinder from Swiss,CNC jig boring machine of Yasda from Japan and high precision gear grinder from Recshauer of Swiss, Kapp of Germany and Gleason of US.
4. A breakthrough on 5-axis machining machines
There are about 70 5-axis machines demonstrated at the show including 5-axis integrated machining center and 40 of them are made in China. The 5-axis vertical machining center and gantry type machining center with A and B axis swing made by Shenyang Machine Tool Group is demonstrated first time and is new breakthrough in development of high grade CNC machine tools in China.
There are nearly 20 domestic enterprises showing their 5-axis machines such as Jier Machine-tool, Changzheng Machine Tool Group, Beijing NO.1 Machine Tool Works, Nanjing Sika Electonic, Zhejiang Rifa, Jiangsu Duoleng, Beijing Machine Tool Research Institute, BMEI, Dalian Machine Tool Group, Wafandian Machine Tool Works, Nijing Machine Tool Group, Jiangsu Hengli, Sichuan Changzheng, Shenzhen First, etc. There were 15 sets of such machine shown by 10 enterprises at CIMT2005.
The foreign companies who show 5-axis machines are MAZAK and Mori Seiki of Japan, Mikron (2 sets) and Willemin (2 sets) of Swiss, Cincinnati of US, DMG, Chiron-Werke and Hermle of Germany, Hwacheon of Korea, Fair Friend of Taiwan province, etc.
Further more,5-axis CNC tool grinder and shown by Walter, Saacke, and Vollmer from Germany, Schneeberger from Swiss, Star-su from UA and Anca from Austrilia; 5-axis water jet cutting machine showed by Water Jet from Sweden and 6-axis CNC bevel gear cutting machine of Gleason from US.
5.Variety of plate or sheet metal working machine
A variety of metal forming and sheet metal forming machine you will found at the show, including turret CNC punching machines, CNC punching machines, CNC laser cutting machines, CNC water jet cutting machines and flexible sheet metal working cell, especially the CNC laser cutting machine and water jet cutting machine, so many number of such machines are demonstrated never be seen at CIMT before. CNC Laser cutting machines are shown by Jinan Forge & Casting Research Institute, Shanghai Prima, AMADA and MAZAK from Japan, Trumpf from Germany, Bystronic from Swiss, Prima from Italy, Finn Power from Finland, etc. The water jet cutting machine demonstrated by companies both from home and abroad such as Sanxing, Bystronic, Flow UNP (US), Water jet, ect.
.6.A variety of measuring machines both from home and abroad
A variety of large measuring machines and complete measuring technologies are demonstrated including gear testing center from Harbin Measuring & Cutting Tool Plant, cutting tool testing center from Kelch and Zoller, gear testing center from Klingelnberg Ag and Gleason, measuring technologies of Hexagon Metrology and CMM of LK(UK), etc.
