Phase II of ClEC New Venue (tentative name)
Phase II of ClEC New Venue (tentative name) as a major project in Beijing during the “14th Five-Year Plan” period, undertakes the key responsibility of implementing the capital’s “Four Centers” strategic positioning, in-depth implementation of the strategies of Cultural Beijing, Technological Beijing, and Green Beijing, and promoting the construction of an important platform and carrier for the international exchange center. The project is located in the southeast of the Houshayu part area in Shunyi New City, north of Phase I of CIEC (New Venue), west of Jingmi Road and Line 15 of subway. It is 2 kilometers away from the Capital Airport and 24 kilometers away from Tiananmen Square, with a total construction area of 611,000 square meters. The exhibition center has three entrance halls in the east, south, and north, which are convenient for visitors from all directions and can also be used separately. The exhibition center consists of 9 large exhibition halls, with a total indoor net exhibition area of 210,000 square meters; outdoor exhibition areas are set on both the east and west sides of the exhibition halls, with an outdoor exhibition area of 50,000 square meters, combined with the main entrance square on the east side for easy access of visitors. Upon completion in 2024, it will be the largest exhibition center in the capital of China. It will take this opportunity to comprehensively expand the conference and exhibition space in Beijing, effectively strengthen the construction of supporting facilities, improve the quality of environmental facilities, further enhance the professional exhibition venue service guarantee capabilities, and promote the Beijing exhibition brand.
China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Hall)
The China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Hall) was established and invested by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade with a large scale, complete facilities and complete functions. It is 30 minutes' ride from Chaoyang Hall. The two halls are planned together and have integrated management. They have carefully cultivated and developed world-renowned exhibitions such as China International Machine Tool Show,Auto China, China Print Exhibition, China Metallurgy Expo, China Glass Show and so on. They are the first choice for domestic and foreign exhibitors to hold exhibitions and expos in the capital. The total construction area of the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Hall) exhibition hall and its ancillary facilities is 231,400 square meters, including 8 separable single story, column free, and large space exhibition halls. The indoor net exhibition area is 106,800 square meters, and the outdoor exhibition area is about 50000 square meters. Each exhibition hall can independently host small-scale exhibitions and be interconnected through internal corridors, which is conducive to hosting large-scale exhibitions. Since its launch in 2008, it has attracted numerous well-known large and medium-sized exhibitions from home and abroad to be held here, promoting the rapid development of Beijing's exhibition industry and making new contributions to the increasing prosperity of China's exhibition economy and trade undertakings. China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Hall) is located in Tianzhu Airport City business district, east of Beijing Capital International Airport, west of Wenyu River Ecological Corridor. The traffic is convenient and the scenery is beautiful. There are high-grade highway networks consisting of Jingmi Road, Fifth Ring Road, Sixth Ring Road, Airport Expressway and Jingcheng Expressway. Public transportation includes light rail, buses, airport buses and taxis.
